But I’m only an American who knows little to nothing of these seperate but related subcultures, so who am I to judge.
The weird thing is that (from an American’s point of view) you would never guess this video is from 1974.

Bogan evolved from the Sharpie thing…
hahahaha man I love the FJ Holden they’re hanging out around at the start. Most of that footage is of the old Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, the current State Govt fucked it up by redeveloping it.
Greg Macainish was the main song writer of Skyhooks, probably the biggest Aussie band of the ’70’s, much loved by the Sharpies. Worth checking out is “Living in the ’70’s”.
