If you suffered from cerebral palsy, and spent a decade trapped in an institution labeled as a mental defective, what would it do to you? Could you stand to write about what it inspired in you upon your release? Would you ask to have the deepest frustrations and most isolation-addled musings it left you turned into entertainment? Would it let itself be written? Would it let itself be read? Who would let it see the light of day? Would it want this? Would it rather remain mute? Would it kill you? What is it like?

Apparently he’s not thrilled with “contemporary indie-distribution practices”.
It’s not like he does this for the money, though I do hope he releases them on DVD eventually. I’m sure there’s a great many people unable to attend his screenings that are itching to have their sensibilities molested.
