Are People Really this Stupid?
Sometime near the 15th of September 2008 there was a soccer riot in a city called Kinshasa, Congo (as in Africa). Now you may be saying to your self, “Krapsna, pleaze! Nobody cares about a soccer riot.” What makes this one interesting is that the 13 people killed (most of whom were between the ages of 11 and 16) were casualties of some of the most ignorant stupidity this planet has ever seen.
You see, what initally sparked the riot were accusations that one of the players was using witchcraft during the soccer game. That’s right, witchcraft. Now, like any crowd of imbeciles the soccer fans got pissed off and some sort of mayhem was about to erupt. Not to be outdone in the lack of brains department, the police (soldiers) on hand decided to nip the riot in the bud and disperse the crowd by firing their AK-47s into the air.
The mayhem then became lethal “when the crowds all tried to leave at the same time.” Most of the victims were children, only two or three were adults according to the regional governor Julien Mpaluku.
I wonder if anybody in the crowd was screaming “Burn the witch!” before the shooting started?

Its no more stupid than, say, belief in intelligent design, or lending vast sums of money to people with no way to repay it.
This planet is run by stupidity. As long as you can side step it, its awful fun to watch.
No way, trying to “calm” a crowd by shooting automatic weapons is one of the stupidest things ever.
